Upcoming Races

Monterey California August 2009
Monterey California August 13th.  Phils Porsche 908/03 has been accepted to the races at Monterey  this year. The lineup is going to be pretty tough. Brian Redman will be racing a Porsche 908/03 along with Bruce Canepa who will be driving a Porsche 917 these guys are very tough competitors so it's going to be a close race. But we'll see who comes out on top will let you know. In the meantime the Phil's Lola-t290 is under restoration in Atlanta.it is going to be fitted with a brand-new engine A BDG four-cylinder with approximately 300 hp. it should be ready for next season will keep you informed.

New racing group Print E-mail

For 2008 will be with a new racing group, Hudson Historic out of New York.  They've been around a long time I had my first race with them back in March in Atlanta.  Looking for a long relationship with these guys in racing.  Our good friend Michael Haydel sold his 73 911 he has one more race car for sale hopefully when it's sold, he will get a Chevron or Lola, that would be much more fun to race. the only problem is finding one of these race cars is like trying to find a living dinosaur that's almost impossible but we'll keep looking.Cool

Just got back from VIR, what a wild weekend. the entire weekend was devoted to the cars of Germany, Phil Daigrepont and John Romano brought out their two Porsche 908/03 .Henry Payne and his family where  there   also, with their Porsche 907& a 908/02.  As we drove from the airport to the track you could not help but to look up and see a gigantic billboard with Phil's Porsche 908/03.

every place you looked,  it was all over the place T-shirt shops were selling their T-shirts with the908/03 on it. the program from VIR featured the Porsche908/03 even  ceramic tile for your Floor had a photo of the 908/03 Everywhere you looked Phil's Porsche was plastered all over the place, what a sight.  ImageImageAt the end of the race for the Germans cars, Phil was presented with the Spirit award trophy. There were a lot of spectators that came out to see the race cars for that weekend. the racing was excellent. a lot of competition and good clean racing for all.

Dr. Mike Haydel Print E-mail

I have been knowing Michael Haydel  for about 15 years.  He was my Chiroprator and personal friend.  I got him interested in vintage racing about six years ago  and we have been best friends ever since.  Dr.Haydel, drives a 1973 Porsche 911 Porsche RS, and he is very fast.  We were trying to graduate Dr. Haydel to a 2 L sports racer, but they are very hard to come by, if anyone has one for sale please let us know. Our next race will be at Road America in Wisconsin, and of course we will let you know the outcome.Cool
